Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) witnessed a rise in share price on Friday after the company has secured Rs 1.02 billion international contract for dredging in Pussur channel from Mongla Port to Rampal Power Plant, Bangladesh in global competitive bidding.
The Mongla Port, Bangladesh contract is the first international contract secured by DCI through global competitive bidding.
Shares of Dredging Corporation Of India are trading at Rs 490.00, up Rs 11.05, or 2.31% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 10:18 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 496.20 and low of Rs 486.00. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 34,338.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 41.26% to 189,035 compared with 22-day average volume of 321,832.
