Divis Laboratories shares fell on Tuesday after the company reported a decline in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 4% to Rs 1.68 million from Rs 1.75 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 24.37% to Rs 6.43 million, compared with Rs 5 million for the prior year period.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 1,483.20, down Rs 29.05, or 1.92% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 11:17 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,500 and low of Rs 1,449. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 89,879.
