Delta Corp gains on plan of raising Rs 7.5 bn via QIP

Delta Corp, a company engaged in entertainment & gaming, hospitality and real estate, witnessed a rise in share price on Thursday after the company is planning to raise up to Rs 7.50 billion through issue of equity shares or other securities via qualified institutional placement (QIP).

The company will seek nod from its shareholders for the fund raising plans and has called for an extraordinary general meeting on April 18, 2017.

Shares of Delta Corp (Q,N,C,F)* are trading at Rs 179.70, up Rs 2.7, or 1.53% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 10:46 a.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 181.20 and low of Rs 178.05. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 469,017.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 53.05% to 2,942,906 compared with 22-day average volume of 6,268,638.
