Cubex Tubings witnessed a sharp rise in share price on Thursday after the company has received contract from 'ORPIC' for supply of tubes for approximate value of USD 3.622 million amounting Rs 235.0 million.

The contract is for supply of Cu NI Tubes to be supplied within 36 months. The company has initiated necessary steps to execute the same.

 Shares of Cubex Tubings  are trading at Rs 12.14, up Rs 0.57, or 4.93%  at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 10:21 a.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 12.14 and low of Rs 12.14. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 900.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 65.08% to 900 compared with 22-day average volume of 2,577.
