Amtek Auto, one of the largest integrated component manufacturers in India, witnessed a fall in share price on Wednesday after the company said its net loss for the quarter ended June 2016 has widened to Rs 3,196.80. It reported a net loss of Rs 1,576 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter declined 36.14% to Rs 5,532.60 million, compared with Rs 8,663.20 million for the prior year period.
Shares of Amtek Auto are trading at Rs 42.50, down Rs 1.6, or 3.63% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 10:52 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 43.60 and low of Rs 41.25. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 430,107.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 36.68% to 1,442,726 compared with 22-day average volume of 2,278,635.
