Va Tech Wabag witnessed a rise in share price on Thursday after the company has won a Rs 3.86 billion Design, Build and Operate order from the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) for a 150 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at K&C Valley in Bengaluru.

Shares of Va Tech Wabag are trading at Rs 609.95, up Rs 13.6, or 2.28% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 10:05 a.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 613.90 and low of Rs 606.20. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 8,426.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 64.73% to 76,295 compared with 22-day average volume of 216,333.
