Transformers and Rectifiers (India), one of the leading transformer manufacturing companies, witnessed a rise in share price on Tuesday after securing new order. The company has been awarded the order amounting to Rs 1.24 billion from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO). With this order, company's order book as on date stands around Rs 9 billion.
"The company continuously thrives to deliver quality products and services and over a period of time has become a leading manufacturer of transformers in the country," Transformers and Rectifiers (India) said.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 270.20, up Rs 10, or 3.84% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 11:45 a.m.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 1,161.53% to 51,427 compared with 22-day average volume of 4,077.
