Shree Renuka Sugars (SRSL) witnessed a sharp rise in share price on Friday after the company reported standalone profit of Rs 43.00 million for the quarter ended March 2015, compared with a loss of Rs 883.00 million in the same period last year.
Total income from operations for the quarter declined 9.44% to Rs 16,836 million, compared with Rs 18,590 million for the prior year period.
Shares of Shree Renuka Sugars are trading at Rs 12.10, up Rs 0.81, or 7.17% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 11:29 a.m.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 6.39% to 8,357,493 compared with 22-day average volume of 7,855,265.
