Idea Cellular witnessed a sharp fall in share price on Monday after the company announced its merger with Vodafone India to create the country's largest mobile telephony services player.
Shares of Idea Cellular are trading at Rs 100.25, down Rs 7.65, or 7.09% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 1:08 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 123.75 and low of Rs 92.00. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 22,835,114.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 437.35% to 186,119,665 compared with 22-day average volume of 34,636,311.
