Paramount Communications has entered into a one-time settlement (OTS) with the Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) for settlement of their entire outstanding dues. The agreement was taken on record and approved by the board of directors at their meeting held on May 29, 2017.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 37.11% to 51,195 compared with 22-day average volume of 37,340.

Paramount Communications is a cable manufacturing company that caters to industries, including power, railways, telecom, information technology (IT) and communication, construction, defense and space research projects.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.19, or 4.96%, to trade at Rs 4.02. The total volume of shares traded was 21,225 at the BSE (1.56 p.m., Tuesday).
