European stock markets settled lower on Thursday after manufacturing data missed economists' estimates for the region and for China. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 fell 20.91 points or 0.67 percent to settle at 3,102.21.
While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 declined 17.70 points or 0.27 percent to close at 6,678.90. Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 11.17 points or 0.12 percent to end at 9,483.97.
Meanwhile, French benchmark index CAC 40 declined 31.98 points or 0.75 percent to end at 4,234.21.
