European stock markets are trading higher on Friday. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 went up 8.83 points or 0.28 percent to trade at 3,111.04. While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 rose 16.03 points or 0.24 percent to trade at 6,694.93.

Germany's benchmark index DAX rose 31.49 points or 0.33 percent to trade at 9,515.46. Meanwhile, French benchmark index CAC 40 gained 11.10 points or 0.26 percent to trade at 4,245.31.
