Petron Engineering Construction, engaged in providing total solutions in engineering construction, announced that the company has received Letter of Intent (LoI) from NCC and from Shree Cement.

The company received NCC order for additional services of erection, testing & assistance for commissioning, trial operation and handing over of critical piping as per technical specification for 2 x 600 MW NCC Power Plant at Nellore.

The engineering firm also received contract from Shree Cement, Beawar, Rajasthan for civil construction work of packing plant extension and Fly Ash unloading system with handling Conveyor Belt at Bangur Cement, Aurangabad for a total contract value of Rs 240 million (excluding service tax).

Shares of the company gained Rs 14.9, or 10%, to trade at Rs 163.95. The total volume of shares traded was 1,346 at the BSE (11.30 a.m., Friday).
