Mphasis disclosed a sharp drop in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 10.60% to Rs 1,562.60 million from Rs 1,747.90 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose marginally 0.42% to Rs 14,964.10 million, compared with Rs 14,902 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 12.69 percent as compared to 14.83 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 1,898.60 million, compared with Rs 2210.6 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 7.42, registering 10.71% decline over previous year period.

Shares of the company gained Rs 15.15, or 3.82%, to settle at Rs 411.90. The total volume of shares traded was 29,397 at the BSE (Wednesday).
