Stone India is executing its first solar power plant. The initial order is for design, supply, installation and maintenance of the system using its indigenously developed unique scalable ''Nano-String Inverter.''
This configured system reduces the capital cost of such poer plants by at least 15% with higher power harvesting capability compared to conventional existing solar plant solutions.
This advanced balance of equipment product has been developed in its state of the art R&D Centre, which has been recognized by ministry of science & technology, government of India.
Such power plants have unique feature of running in hybrid conditions-grid-tied as well as off grid and is targeted for urban & rural roof-top segments.
Shares of the company gained Rs 4, or 6.88%, to trade at Rs 62.15. The total volume of shares traded was 127,183 at the BSE (11.39 a.m., Wednesday).
