Rural Electrification Corporation said a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 35.11% to Rs 15,007.50 million from Rs 11,107.30 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 19.32% to Rs 50,237.10 million, compared with Rs 42,104 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 15.20, registering 35.11% growth over previous year period.
