CRISIL announced a decline in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 4.44% to Rs 578.30 million from Rs 605.20 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 14.78% to Rs 3,051.30 million, compared with Rs 2,658 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 6.04, registering 29.60% decline over previous year period.

Shares of the company gained Rs 36, or 1.84%, to settle at Rs 1,987.40. The total volume of shares traded was 5,701 at the BSE (Friday).
