Vascon Engineers has received work order from Adhiraj Constructions Private, a Domestic Entity for the work of Civil and Structural Works (Residential Township) at Rohinjan Village, Taloja Node, Navi Mumbai amounting to Rs 1.19 billion.

The work has to be completed within 21 months from the date of receipt of work order.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Apr. 18, 2018, falling 7.74% compared with the Sensex's 3.48% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 27.46% as against 2.63% fall in the Sensex.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.35, or 1.03%, to trade at Rs 34.25. The total volume of shares traded was 20,142 at the BSE (11.16 a.m., Thursday).
