Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) has secured an export order from German OEM -BMW. The order covers supplies of approximately 46000 steel wheels. Wheels would be supplied to BMW's Leipzig, Germany plant from SSWLs' Chennai plant from next financial year onwards.

SSWL has been in strong busrness relationship with BIVIW since last 8 years and this business reflects their level of trust & commitment in SSWL This business will help SSWL strengtnen its position in the challenging EU Steel wheels market.

Shares of the company gained Rs 26.6, or 2.75%, to trade at  Rs 995.00.  The total volume of shares traded  was  953 at the BSE (12.02 p.m., Wednesday).
