Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in the power and infrastructure contracting sector has secured new orders / notification of award of Rs 8.75 billion.
The company has bagged two orders totaling Rs 2.78 billion for design, supply and construction of transmission lines in India. Besides, the other three orders totaling Rs 5.97 billion is for design, supply and construction of transmission lines in Afghanistan, Ivory Coast and Bangladesh.
Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO, KPTL said, ''We have received orders of Rs 59 billion till date in the current financial year. The current orders are in the core transmission business including an order from a private client in India. We have added one more country to our international operations which will help us further strengthen our presence in the African market.''
Shares of the company gained Rs 14.6, or 3.32%, to trade at Rs 453.70. The total volume of shares traded was 6,476 at the BSE (9.50 a.m., Wednesday).
