Indian Hume Pipe Company has secured a work order of Rs 5.78 billion from Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam Maryadit for Kundaliya Multi Village Rural water supply scheme District-Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Apr. 20, 2018, falling 0.43% compared with the Sensex's 4.30% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 20.11% as against 3.09% fall in the Sensex.

Shares of the company gained Rs 20.4, or 5.93%, to trade at Rs 364.40. The total volume of shares traded was 16,481 at the BSE (9.50 a.m., Monday).
