Va Tech Wabag announced a decline in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended March 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 1.25% to Rs 705.00 million from Rs 713.90 million in the same quarter last year.
Total Income for the quarter rose marginally 1.12% to Rs 9,077.30 million, compared with Rs 8,977 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 12.94, registering 2.27% decline over previous year period.

Shares of the company gained Rs 13.2, or 1.73%, to settle at Rs 777.55. The total volume of shares traded was 39,930 at the BSE (Monday).
