Punj Lloyd reported a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company jumped to Rs 2,685.30 million from Rs 0.50 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter declined 9.22% to Rs 18,595.40 million, compared with Rs 20,483.80 million for the prior year period.

Shares of the company gained Rs 3.05, or 13.26%, to trade at Rs 26.05. The total volume of shares traded was 6,577,824 at the BSE (3.22 p.m., Friday).
