Ceat announced a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 45.84% to Rs 1,175.90 million from Rs 806.30 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter declined marginally 1.99% to Rs 13,278.80 million, compared with Rs 13,549.10 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 12.85 percent as compared to 10.88 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 1,706.60 million, compared with Rs 1474.3 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 29.07, registering 35.65% growth over previous year period.
