Bharat Electronics disclosed a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 41.75% to Rs 2,718.08 million from Rs 1,917.45 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales for the quarter rose 33.86% to Rs 16,082.44 million, compared with Rs 12,014 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 33.98, registering 41.76% growth over previous year period.
