8K Miles Software Services announced a sharp rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 2.41 times to Rs 120.30 million from Rs 49.83 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter for the quarter rose 2.26 times to Rs 610.96 million, compared with Rs 270.81 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 8.14, registering 97.09% growth over previous year period.

At the board of directors' meeting Thursday, the board has allotted 150,000 equity shares to one of the promoter R S Ramani on conversion of warrants. With this allotment, the stake of the promoter and promoter group has increased the promoters holding from 61.96% (66,57,128 shares) to 62.48% (68,07,128 shares).

Shares of the company gained Rs 61, or 3.43%, to trade at Rs 1,842.00. The total volume of shares traded was 24,496 at the BSE (9.56 a.m., Friday).
