Wipro's Topcoder has launched Topcoder Veterans Community to provide employment opportunities for current and former members of the United States military. Topcoder became a part of Wipro in November 2016.

The community will help U.S. military veterans develop technology skills and earn money by working on projects for Topcoder customers, including the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and some of the world's largest enterprises.

Wipro is a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services company.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.9, or 0.31%, to trade at Rs 288.80. The total volume of shares traded was 27,192 at the BSE (10.12 a.m., Friday).
