Valecha Engineering, an infrastructure development company, has bagged project worth Rs 1.25 billion.

This order is for road project at Jharkhand worth Rs 1.12 billion works strengthening, widening and reconstruction of Ghaghra-Netarhat (SH-9) road on EPC basis. Diaphragm wall, retaining wall work and road work of Rs 130.3 million at Ahmedabad.

As Valecha moves ahead it is focusing on getting an appropriate project mix involving leading edge infrastructure technologies. This will achieve a de-risked business model and increase operational growth.

Shares of the company gained Rs 9.5, or 11.54%, to trade at Rs 91.80. The total volume of shares traded was 216,912 at the BSE (1.20 p.m., Tuesday).
