Unitech International said Tuesday the company has bagged its first contract manufacturing order of plastic media blast to be exported to USA from its soon to be commissioned Monomer unit at Acchad, Maharashtra. The order is for 3,000 MT of Plastic Media Blast, which will be supplied at a price of USD 2,225 per MT. It will be delivered within 12 equal instalment in a year commencing from September 2015 to 2016.

"The yearly contact export order to be used in the aeronautical and defence industry in the USA and is expecting to tie up with similar industries worldwide," the company said.

The company is setting up a plant to manufacture PMMA Monomer in Acchad district of Maharashtra and is expected to start commercial production by August, 2015.

Shares of the company declined Rs 1.06, or 8.09%, to trade at Rs 12.04. The total volume of shares traded was 313,413 at the BSE (2.53 p.m., Tuesday).
