TVS Motor Company, one of the largest two-wheeler manufacturers in India, recorded 1% growth in total sales of 227,653 units in the month of August 2015 against 225,064 units in the month of August 2014.

The company's total exports grew by 21% with sales increasing from 35,074 units in the month of Aug'14 to 42,570 units in the month of Aug'15.

Two wheeler exports grew by 22% with sales increasing from 27,115 units in the month of Aug'14 to 33,128 units in the month of Aug'15. Total two wheeler sales of the company increased from 215,244 units in Aug'14 to 216,781 units in Aug'15.

Scooters sales grew by 11% increasing from 65,544 units in Aug'14 to 72,865 units in Aug'15

Shares of the company declined Rs 4.8, or 2.15%, to settle at Rs 218.65. The total volume of shares traded was 307,598 at the BSE (Tuesday).
