Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL), a producer of automobile wheel rims, announced that in February 2015, wheel rim sales in numbers stood at 10.59 lakh vs 10.06 lakh in February 2014 representing a growth of 5.27%.

The double digit growth is lacking due to some drop in scooter & tractor volumes which is expected to pick up from the new financial year with order book again firming up on these segments.

In terms of value, the company has achieved gross turnover of Rs 1.10 billion February 2015 vs 1.09 billion in February 2014, there by recording growth of 1% and achieved a net turnover of Rs 997 million in February 2015 vs Rs 976 million in February 2014, recording a growth of 2%.

Shares of the company declined Rs 12.3, or 3.67%, to trade at  Rs 323.30.  The total volume of shares traded  was  10,471 at the BSE (3.29 p.m., Monday).
