SSWL bags order worth Rs 1.10 bn from Hyundai India

Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) said Wednesday the company has won a passenger car program worth Rs 1.10 billion from Hyundai India. The program will be for Indian as well export cars for a period of 5 years. SSWL is selected as a single source for the program, it said.

The volumes for the program will be close to 2 million wheels over the life of the program. The supplies of the program will start from FY16-17.

"The program delivery will make us the leading supplier for Hyundai India," the company said.

Shares of the company gained Rs 9.7, or 3.24%, to trade at Rs 308.90. The total volume of shares traded was 9,435 at the BSE (11.40 a.m., Wednesday).
