State Bank of India (SBI) celebrated its 60th anniversary on Jul. 1, 2015. On this occasion Bank has decided to acknowledge the loyalty of its customers for their faith and long standing relations with the bank.
The bank has decided to launch Enterprise Wide Loyalty Programme-State Bank Rewardz through which it will reward its customers for various types of banking transactions with the Bank.
SBI, chairman, Arundhati Bhattacharya said ''Through this exciting initiative, the Bank envisions to strengthen its relationship with its customers by recognising their continued faith and long term association with the Bank through various channels by providing instant gratification.''
Shares of the bank gained Rs 4.85, or 1.85%, to trade at Rs 267.65. The total volume of shares traded was 786,182 at the BSE (2.00 p.m., Wednesday).
