Rural Electrification Corporation announced a marginal decline in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 7.98% to Rs 10,965.00 million from Rs 11,916.40 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 20.05% to Rs 53,334.00 million, compared with Rs 44,425 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 11.10, registering 8.04% decline over previous year period.
