Malaysia's national oil and gas company, Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), through one of its wholly owned subsidiary awarded a contract to the consortium of Va Tech Wabag (WABAG) and Muhibbah Engineering (M) Bhd.
The contract is for the Re-FEED and engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETF) for PETRONAS' Refinery and Petrochemicals Integrated Development (RAPID) project in Pengerang, Johor, Malaysia.
The contract value of the ETP is about Rs 15 billion. The ETP will form part of the RAPID complex at Pengerang, Johor, in southern Malaysia.
Shares of the company gained Rs 4.5, or 0.66%, to settle at Rs 685.75. The total volume of shares traded was 6,380 at the BSE (Wednesday).
