NTPC standalone quarterly net climbs 7.43%

NTPC disclosed a small rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 7.43% to Rs 30,740.00 million from Rs 28,612.80 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales for the quarter rose marginally 0.11% to Rs 188,580.90 million, compared with Rs 188,371 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 3.73, registering 7.49% growth over previous year period.
