Maruti Suzuki India, the largest passenger cars maker in India, today announced a growth of 20.1% in sales volume to 121,712 units in July 2015, compared with 101,380 units sold in July.
It exported 11,307 vehicles, which was 0.2% higher compared with 11,287 units in the same month last year.
Domestic sales during the month stood at 110,405 units, compared with 90,093 units in July last year, representing a rise of 22.5%.
Shares of the company gained Rs 34.7, or 0.81%, to settle at Rs 4,328.25. The total volume of shares traded was 40,758 at the BSE (Friday).
