Marico disclosed a good increase in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 28.37% to Rs 2,378.34 million from Rs 1,852.79 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 9.86% to Rs 17,832.20 million, compared with Rs 16,231 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 17.09 percent as compared to 15.17 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 3,046.83 million, compared with Rs 2462.701 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 3.68, registering 28.22% growth over previous year period.
