Mahindra & Mahindra's Farm Equipment Sector (FES), a part of the USD 16.5 billion Mahindra Group, today announced a fall 16%  in tractor sales for June 2015.

Total tractor sales (domestic and exports) during June 2015 stood at 25,090 units, as against 29,884 units for the same period last year.

Domestic sales in June 2015 stood at 23,899 units, as against 28,893 units during June 2014, registering a fall of 17%.

Shares of the company gained R 7.4, or 0.58%, to trade at Rs 1,288.60. The total volume of shares traded was 37,650 at the BSE (3.28 p.m., Wednesday).

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 24.42% to 951,506 compared with 22-day average volume of 1,258,998.
