Lincoln Pharmaceuticals said Thursday the company has raised stake in its subsidiary Lincoln Parenteral to 98.58% by acquiring additional 36.58% stake. The company has decided to make further investment in Lincoln Parenteral to get the additional manufacturing facility for injectable and liquids syrups, so that the company has complete range of product under therapeutic group like tablet, capsule, ointment, injectable, syrup, and dry powder.
"This investment will definitely increase the turnover and bottom line of the company," Lincoln Pharmaceuticals said.
Lincoln Pharmaceuticals owned manufacturing plant facility for tablet, capsule, ointment, etc. "During this year, the company has undertaken expansion of various capex projects to make the company more strengthen in terms of manufacturing facility and marketing segment," it said.
Shares of the company gained Rs 5.25, or 4.75%, to trade at Rs 115.80. The total volume of shares traded was 311,855 at the BSE (10.31 a.m., Thursday).
