Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in power and infrastructure contracting sector, has secured new orders of approximately Rs 8.80 billion.
The company bagged orders for five international transmission pine projects in Tanzania, Ukraine, Thailand, Tajikistan and Ethiopia of approx. Rs 4.65 billion.
KPTL received turnkey contract for 400 KV transmission line from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation worth aprox. Rs 3.42 billion.
Additionally, the company has bagged order amounting to approx. Rs 750 million from GAIL (India) for a pipeline laying project.
Shares of the company gained Rs 6.8, or 2.7%, to trade at Rs 259.10. The total volume of shares traded was 20,763 at the BSE (11.51 a.m., Friday).
