Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in power and infrastructure contracting sector, has secured new orders, notification of awards of approximately Rs 10.35 billion.
The company bagged orders is for three International Transmission Line projects in Kenya, Qatar and Cambodia of approx. Rs 6 billion.
Oder worth Rs 3.25 billion for four projects in Railway division has been secured.
Also, the company has bagged order woth approx. Rs 1.1 billion from PGCIL for 765 KV D/C Srikakulam Pooling Station - Angul transmission line of 86 kms.
Manish Mohnot, managing director said, ''Our efforts to strengthen and grow railways business has started demonstrating results by securing new order of approx. Rs 3.25 billion recently. We continue to build our international presence with additional projects and new geographies.''
Shares of the company gained Rs 4.9, or 1.93%, to trade at Rs 259. The total volume of shares traded was 50,635 at the BSE (3.19 p.m., Tuesday).
