Kalpataru Power bags new orders worth Rs 8.35 bn

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in power and infrastructure contracting sector, has bagged new orders worth Rs 8.35 billion.

The company has received order for construction of 400 KV D/ C transmission line of 213 kms in Kenya in the JV worth over Rs 3.55 billion (KPTL). It has secured order worth Rs 1.84 billion from PGCIL for supply and erection package of 765 KV D/C Hyderabad GIS, Wardha station transmission line (part II). Supply package of 765 KV D/C Jabalpur, Orai transmission line worth around Rs 1.25 billion from PGCIL.

The company has also secured two railways orders in JV from Central Organisation for Railway Electrification (CORE) worth around Rd 1 billion.

Shares of the company gained Rs 9.15, or 4.16%, to trade at Rs 229.20. The total volume of shares traded was 59,077 at the BSE (9.53 a.m., Wednesday).
