IndusInd Bank, the private sector lender, announced that the bank has inaugurated a new branch at Sakchi, the second branch in Jamshedpur. The bank plans to further strengthen its presence and customer reach in Jharkhand with more branches in the coming quarters.
Soumitra Sen, head branch banking, IndusInd Bank, said, "We are happy to inaugurate a new branch in Jamshedpur, which is growing and constantly evolving city for the bank. The opening of the new branch aligns with the bank's strategy to extend the reach and offer entire gamut of financial services including credit, savings, investments and insurance products to customers across Jharkhand."
Shares of the company gained Rs 2.9, or 0.3%, to settle at Rs 959.90. The total volume of shares traded was 102,908 at the BSE (Monday).
