ICICI Bank, India's largest private sector bank, said that the bank has allotted 227,650 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each on under the Employees Stock Option Scheme, 2000 (ESOS).

Earlier, the bank, organised a Coin Exchange Mela at its Zaveri Bazaar branch in Mumbai on Thursday, October 30. The mela took place in line with the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India.

Shares of the bank gained Rs 44.4, or 2.58%, to trade at Rs 1,766.70. The total volume of shares traded was 130,550 at the BSE (2.11 p.m., Friday).
