HDFC Bank said that the bank has allotted 12,50,850 equity shares to the employees of the Bank pursuant to exercise of options under its Employees Stock Options Schemes (ESOS).

The paid up share capital of the bank will accordingly increase from Rs. 48,32,313,550 equity shares of Rs 2 each to Rs 48,34,815,250 equity shares of Rs 2 each.

Shares of the company gained Rs 5.15, or 0.54%, to trade at Rs 950.90. The total volume of shares traded was 28,914 at the BSE (11.23 a.m., Friday).
