Dai-Ichi Karkaria disclosed a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 36.07% to Rs 24.90 million from Rs 18.30 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales for the quarter declined marginally 4.77% to Rs 263.60 million, compared with Rs 276.80 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 3.34, registering 35.77% growth over previous year period.
