Crompton Greaves (CG), an engineering firm, has bagged two important orders in Philippines.
First order is for 8 bays of 138kv, 60Hz, AIS Switchyard in the Philippines for MINERGY Coal Corporation.
Similarly, the other order is for 30 MVA, 132kv mobile substations for Wellington Turbines, a Venezuelan enterprise.
GC with its successful track record of providing reliable mobile substations and conventional substations secured the orders through a highly competitive international bidding process. The scope of work for both projects includes design, manufacture, supply, construction and installation and commissioning of the substations.
Shares of the company declined Rs 2.3, or 1.39%, to trade at Rs 162.75. The total volume of shares traded was 92,435 at the BSE (2.32 p.m., Monday).
