Ahluwalia Contracts, the company engaged in construction business, has secured new orders worth Rs 2.20 billion for construction of institution and commercial buildings, including electrical, plumbing & firefighting services.
The company bagged new order worth Rs 1.54 billion for construction of civil package work for Brookfield Assets Management and worth Rs 664.7 million for construction of Bennett University for Times of India.
"We are currently L1 in project valued approx Rs 4.12 billion and the projects bidder under pipeline is Rs 18 billion (approx.)," the company said.
"The total order inflow during the FY 2015-2016 stands at Rs 12.14 billion as on date company's order book stand at Rs 43 billion (approx.)," the company added.
Shares of the company gained Rs 4.5, or 1.68%, to trade at Rs 271.80. The total volume of shares traded was 10,982 at the BSE (11.58 a.m., Monday).
