Swastika Investmart expects the rupee to trade on a neutral to positive note against the dollar taking cues from upbeat global and domestic market sentiments. However, strength in the dollar index and positive employment data from US may cap sharp gains in the rupee.

''As seen on the daily chart, USD INR is trailing near the support at an up sloping trend line near the 61.61 mark. If it breaches this level on the downside, then the counter is likely to head towards the 61.32 mark. On the upside, 62.01 is an important resistance for the counter,'' it added.
